The second annual James Toney “Lights Out” Invitational tournament wrapped up today after three days of fighting in Ann Arbor.

Thirty-nine bouts were contested with opponents coming from as far away as Chicago and Pittsburgh for the tournament, named in honor of Michigan native James Toney – who did not attend this year because he was in attendance at the Pacquiao-Cotto fight in Las Vegas – organized by A-Square Boxing Club’s Eric McGuire.

James Smith, training out of the River Rouge Boxing Club, won the Most Outstanding Boxer trophy at this years tournament. The 4-foot tall trophy was named the LeAndre White Award, for the Kronk boxer that won the honor last year.
