Golden Gloves Scheduled The date and location for the 2009 Detroit Metropolitan Golden Gloves has been finalized. The annual tournament is scheduled for the weekend of April 3-5 at the Gibraltar Trade Center (South) in Taylor, according to Tournament Director Rene Muniz. The event is a direct feed to the National Golden Gloves for open class Senior division males but is open to all JO and Senior boxers. The national tournament will take place May 4-9 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The
