J'Leon Love parted ways with the famed Kronk Gym in December, 2009 when he signed with an out-of-state manager and promotional company. Within weeks his pro debut was signed while efforts continued to move his debut even sooner. A February, 2010 date was confirmed early but that soon became his second scheduled fight as his manager was able to move Love's debut to an ESPN undercard fight a month earlier, in January.
